Russia intercepts 49 Ukrainian drones over multiple regions

Between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Moscow time on February 15, Russian Armed Forces air defence units reportedly intercepted and destroyed 49 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), according to the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The ministry stated that the drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, Kaluga region, Tula region, Ryazan region, and the Moscow region, Caliber.Az reports. 

One of the UAVs was reportedly heading toward Moscow.

No further details on damage or casualties have been released.
