Russia invited to attend G20 summit in Miami
Russia has received an invitation to participate at the highest level in the upcoming Group of Twenty (G20) summit, scheduled to take place on December 14–15 in Miami, Florida.
According to TASS, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin announced the development to journalists at the United Nations headquarters. He said that the invitation has already been extended, but noted that a final decision on the composition of Russia’s delegation will be made closer to the date of the summit.
Meanwhile, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent ранее outlined Washington’s priorities for its G20 presidency. These include stimulating economic growth, modernising financial regulation, improving transparency of sovereign debt and its restructuring, advancing the development of digital assets, combating payment fraud, and promoting financial literacy.
