Russia, Iran finalise comprehensive strategic partnership agreement
Russia and Iran have successfully concluded negotiations on a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement, with a historic signing expected to occur in the near future.
The finalization of the treaty follows extensive discussions between the legal and territorial experts from the Foreign Ministries of both countries, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
These consultations took place in Moscow on June 21 and were described as highly productive by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko.
Rudenko explained that the agreement's text has now been completed, and both sides have agreed to initiate the necessary domestic procedures to prepare the treaty for its formal signing.
The finalization of the treaty is expected to enhance collaboration across various sectors and strengthen the strategic ties between Russia and Iran.
