Russia, Jordan hold talks on Iran, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov and Jordan's ambassador to Moscow, Khaled Shawabkeh, discussed the situation surrounding Iran as well as developments in the Gaza Strip, Syria and Lebanon during a meeting requested by the Jordanian envoy, Russia's Foreign Ministry has stated.
The ministry said the two sides also focused on cooperation between the Russian and Jordanian delegations at the United Nations, including on issues related to Iran, Caliber.Az reports.
The officials exchanged views on the situations in Gaza, Syria and Lebanon and agreed to maintain close contacts on the full range of current international issues in the spirit of friendship and partnership that characterizes relations between the two countries.
