Russia launches 110 drones in overnight attack on Ukraine

Russia launched 110 attack drones against Ukraine overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force said on April 7.

In a statement, the Air Force said that, according to preliminary data as of 8:00 a.m. local time, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down or otherwise neutralised 77 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles, including Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types of drones, Caliber.Az reports per ASTRA. 

The interceptions took place across northern, southern and eastern regions of the country.

At the same time, the military recorded direct hits by 31 attack drones at 14 locations. It also reported that debris from downed UAVs fell at nine separate sites.
