17 April 2026 15:04
New satellites launched in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defence have been placed into their designated orbit, the state corporation Roscosmos said on Telegram.
The launch of a Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome was carried out by a combat crew of Russia’s Aerospace Forces space troops at 2:17 a.m. Moscow time.
“After launch, the Soyuz-2.1b rocket was tracked by ground-based automated control systems of the German Titov Main Test Space Center,” the statement said.
The corporation added that the launch and deployment of the satellites into orbit proceeded as planned, with stable telemetry communication established with the spacecraft.
