Russia notes reports of violations in Armenian elections, Kremlin says
Moscow is taking note of reports that there were numerous violations during the elections in Armenia, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has stated.
He told journalists that Russia is waiting for the final results of the vote in Armenia and is closely monitoring all reports surrounding the election, including allegations of multiple irregularities, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“We are carefully recording all the reports that are appearing around these elections, including reports of numerous violations that took place during these elections,” he noted.
Peskov also refrained from making any official comments on the ongoing vote, noting that Armenia’s Central Election Commission has not yet announced the final results.
“I will refrain from any official comments on this matter for now, because the final results have not yet been announced by the Central Election Commission of Armenia. We are waiting for these final results,” the spokesperson added.
