Russia ready to support Pakistan’s role in Middle East mediation

Russia has expressed readiness to support Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving tensions in the Middle East, according to Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert Khorev.

Speaking to TASS, Khorev emphasised Pakistan’s growing role in mediating the conflict between Iran and the United States, describing it as significant.

“We note the notable role of Pakistan in the process of resolving the conflict between Iran and the United States. For our part, we are ready to assist these efforts,” he said.

The ambassador added that he hopes coordinated international efforts will help “put an end to this destructive war and ensure lasting peace in the Persian Gulf region.”
