Russia receives batch of Su-57 fighters in upgraded configuration VIDEO
The Russian Ministry of Defence has received a large shipment of Su-57 fighter jets equipped with an updated weapons suite, Russia’s state-owned defence and technology conglomerate Rostec said in a statement on Telegram.
The aircraft also features upgraded onboard systems, Caliber.Az reports.
“The Su-57 is a formidable weapon that has proven its effectiveness at the front lines, with numerous targets destroyed. This fifth-generation platform can operate even against the most advanced enemy air defence systems. Today, we have delivered to the troops aircraft that are even more powerful and dangerous,” Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec, noted.
The Su-57 is capable of engaging ground, air, and naval targets, and can operate in all weather conditions and in complex electronic environments.
