Russia reports 30 civilian deaths in week of Ukrainian attacks
Russia’s Foreign Ministry has reported that 30 civilians were killed and more than 180 injured in the past week as a result of actions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, marking a record for civilian casualties since the start of the year.
Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Special Envoy, shared the figures on his Telegram channel, highlighting that the Belgorod region experienced the highest number of affected civilians.
Between March 2 and March 8, a total of 183 civilians were impacted: 153 were injured, including nine children, and 30 were killed, including one child.
He also noted that a female employee and a patient at the Regional Clinical Cardiology Dispensary in Saratov were among those harmed during a drone attack attributed to Ukrainian forces.
