Drones targeted the Russian city of Oryol and the Stavropol region overnight on December 4, according to RBC-Ukraine, which cited Russian media outlets and monitoring Telegram channels.
At around 2:00 a.m., the SHOT Telegram channel reported that residents in Oryol heard roughly 10 explosions within a span of 30 minutes.
Simultaneously, local Telegram groups in the Stavropol region stated that several blasts were reported in the city of Nevinnomyssk, where people counted no fewer than six loud explosions.
A short time later, monitoring channels indicated that the Nevinnomyssk Azot chemical plant had reportedly been hit. Footage circulating online showed a fire breaking out in the vicinity of the facility.

The Nevinnomyssk Azot plant is known as one of Russia’s largest producers of nitrogen-based fertilisers and ammonia, as well as raw materials used in the manufacture of explosives.
