Russia reports rising demand for energy amid Middle East tensions
Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that demand for Russian energy resources has risen significantly amid the escalating situation in the Middle East, particularly in connection with the ongoing conflict in Iran.
Peskov noted that Russia continues to be a "reliable supplier of oil and gas," including both pipeline and liquefied natural gas, and is "capable of ensuring the continuity of all contracted energy supplies," Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
On relations with Tehran, he noted that Russia maintains an ongoing dialogue with Iranian leadership and intends to continue these contacts, though he did not specify whether any military-technical cooperation between the two countries is currently taking place.
Peskov concluded by saying that this was all the information he wished to provide on the matter.
