Russia’s air defense shoots down over 150 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russian air defence forces intercepted and destroyed more than 150 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight on February 17, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced.

According to the ministry's statement, on-duty air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 151 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

50 drones were neutralised over the Black Sea, 29 over the Sea of Azov, and a single target in the Kursk region, as per the defence ministry.

Additional UAVs were shot down in Bryansk (4), Kaluga (11), and Krasnodar (18) regions, and Crimea’s air defences repelled an attack involving 38 drones.
