Russia’s economy remains resilient, seizes new growth opportunities – deputy PM
Russia’s economy continues to display resilience and adaptability in the face of external challenges, while actively exploring new directions and avenues for growth, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak stated in a message marking Economist's Day, published on the official website of the Russian government.
Novak highlighted that the coordinated efforts of specialized government agencies, the business community, and development institutions are instrumental in strengthening the nation’s economic potential, boosting competitiveness, and fostering an environment conducive to sustainable development.
He underscored that these collective efforts have enabled the successful advancement of key strategic priorities, including industrial development, the promotion of competition, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the enhancement of planning and regulatory mechanisms.
“Professionalism, accountability, and results-driven dedication of economists are the foundation for further fortifying Russia’s economic stability and improving the quality of life for our citizens,” Novak added.
Every year on November 11, Russia celebrates Economist's Day, a professional holiday for specialists who determine the financial strategy of companies.
