Russia’s FM to visit Kazakhstan for high-level talks

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to visit Kazakhstan on April 29–30 for meetings with senior Kazakh officials.

During the visit in Astana, Lavrov is expected to hold talks with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

Discussions will focus on strengthening the two countries’ strategic partnership and coordinating upcoming high-level contacts, officials said.

Lavrov last visited Kazakhstan in April 2025.
