Russia's FSB detains suspects in attempted killing of Lt. Gen. Alekseyev

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has arrested a suspected accomplice and the direct perpetrator of an assassination attempt on Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseyev, TASS reports.

In Moscow, Russian citizen Viktor Vasin, born in 1959, was detained. Authorities have also located his possible accomplice, Zinaida Serebritskaya, born in 1971, who has left for Ukraine.

Additionally, Lyubomir Korba, born in 1960 and considered by Russian authorities to be the direct executor of the attack, was arrested in Dubai. He was transferred to Russia with the assistance of partners from the UAE.
