Russia's FSB kills attacker targeting media regulator leadership

Russia’s Federal Security Service FSB has stated that the leader of a group allegedly planning a terrorist attack against senior officials of the country’s media regulator has been killed after armed resistance during an attempted arrest.

The FSB Public Relations Centre said the leader of the terrorist group was a Moscow resident born in 2004, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

His name was not disclosed.

The group was reportedly preparing an attack targeting the leadership of Roskomnadzor.
