Russia’s most powerful warship begins second phase of sea trials PHOTO
The Russian Navy’s heavy nuclear-powered missile cruiser, Admiral Nakhimov, is undergoing the second phase of sea trials following an extensive repair and modernisation programme, photographs suggest.
Images shared by naval correspondent Oleg Kulishov, who covers Russia’s fleet and shipbuilding industry, show the cruiser at sea, Caliber.Az reports.

После этих фотографий появилась внутренняя "галочка". Всё - наверно лучше фотографий с ним уже не сделаю.
Хотя, может и сделаю, если повезет с условиями - лето и закат pic.twitter.com/peUvkmnm56
According to Russian defence sources, the Admiral Nakhimov, which was refurbished at the United Shipbuilding Corporation’s Sevmash facility in Severodvinsk, likely began its second stage of trials in October.
As of November 2, the ship was reported to be operating in the White Sea.
The vessel, part of Project 1144, is regarded as one of Russia’s most formidable warships, equipped with advanced missile systems and nuclear propulsion, and its return to service is considered a significant boost to the Navy’s strategic capabilities.
