Russia's Oryol faces utility outages following latest Ukrainian strike
An infrastructure facility in the Russian city of Oryol was damaged following another attack attributed to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, regional authorities reported on January 9.
Governor Andrey Klychkov announced on his Telegram channel that municipal services are working to restart water and heating supply systems in the Zavodskoy, Severny, and Zheleznodorozhny districts. He added that the Sovetsky district is expected to experience a drop in heat carrier levels over the next several hours.
Klychkov stated that emergency repair teams are conducting restoration work despite difficult weather conditions. He noted that personnel from the Emergency Situations Ministry and law enforcement agencies are also deployed at the site of the incident.
