Russia’s Perm Krai comes under massive drone attack, governor says VIDEO

Russia’s Perm Krai has come under a drone attack, with two industrial facilities hit in the region, Governor Dmitry Makhonin has said.

In a post on Telegram, he wrote that a massive attack is underway on the northern territories; air defence forces and mobile fire groups are repelling drone strikes, Caliber.Az reports.

“So far, our personnel have shot down 36 UAVs. All of them fell in an uninhabited area. As a result of the attack, two industrial facilities have been hit. There are no casualties. Air quality is being monitored. Emergency and response services are working at the site,” he noted.

Earlier on 11 September, ASTRA reported that the Azot chemical plant of Russia’s Uralchem in Berezniki, Perm Krai, had come under attack.

Its products are used, among other things, in the production of gunpowder and explosives.
