ASTRA: Explosion at weapons facility leaves 2 dead in Russia’s Tula VIDEO

Russia’s Tula region has reported an explosion at a weapons production facility, with two people said to have been killed.

The explosion and subsequent fire occurred on Lenin Avenue, Caliber.Az reports, citing ASTRA sources.

Sources said the facility belongs to the company A+A, which manufactures weapons and ammunition.

Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) said the fire covered an area of 250 square metres.

Firefighting efforts were reportedly suspended due to ongoing detonations inside the burning building.
