Russian air defences down 163 Ukrainian drones overnight
Russia’s air defence forces intercepted 163 drones overnight across multiple regions of the country, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
According to the ministry, the largest number of drones— 54 — were shot down over the Bryansk region, while 47 drones were intercepted over Crimea, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Another 16 UAVs were destroyed over the Krasnodar Territory, and 11 over the Kaluga region.
Air defences also downed eight drones over the Novgorod region and five over the Belgorod region. Meanwhile, four UAVs each were intercepted over the Black Sea and the Smolensk region.
In addition, three drones each were destroyed over the Voronezh region and the Republic of Adygea, while two UAVs each were shot down over the Rostov region and the Sea of Azov.
Single drones were also intercepted over the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Oryol, and Tver regions, the ministry added.
