Russia says air defences downed 133 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russian air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 133 Ukrainian drones during an overnight attack targeting multiple regions across the country, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The ministry said the drones were shot down between 20:00 Moscow time on June 18 and 07:00 Moscow time on June 19, Caliber.Az reports.

"Air defence systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 133 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Voronezh, Oryol, Smolensk, Tula and Rostov regions, the Moscow region, the Republic of Crimea and over the waters of the Black Sea," the ministry said.
