Russia says air defences downed 348 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russia’s air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 348 Ukrainian drones overnight, according to the Russian Defence Ministry.

In a statement released on May 23, the ministry said the drones were shot down across multiple regions of the country, including Belgorod region, Bryansk region, Volgograd region, Voronezh region, Kaluga region, Kursk region, Lipetsk region, Oryol region, Rostov region, Ryazan region, and Tula region, Caliber.Az reports. 

The ministry added that drones were also intercepted over Krasnodar Krai, Crimea, the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Moscow region, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
