Russia says air defences shot down 29 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russia’s air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 29 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles overnight, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

According to the ministry, the drones were shot down between 11:00 p.m. Moscow time on December 22 and 7:00 a.m. on December 23, Caliber.Az reports. 

Some fourteen drones were intercepted over the Rostov region. Seven UAVs were downed over Stavropol Krai, while three were intercepted over the Belgorod region and three over the Republic of Kalmykia. One drone was shot down over the Kursk region, and another over Crimea, the ministry said.
