11 July 2026 09:41
Russia's Defence Ministry said on July 11 that its forces had disabled a 110-kilovolt electrical substation in Ukraine's Chernihiv region that it claimed was being used to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the ministry, the facility in the village of Mena was struck by a Geran-2 Seeker unmanned aerial vehicle, Russian media reports.
"As a result of the strike, the 110 kV substation in the village of Mena in the Chernihiv region was put out of action," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry said the substation was part of Ukraine's energy infrastructure used for military purposes.
