Russia says drone strike hit Miratorg facility in Bryansk region

A drone attack attributed to the Ukrainian Armed Forces caused a fire at a Miratorg pig complex in Russia’s Bryansk region, destroying one of the facility’s production buildings, the company said.

The incident occurred at the “Podyvotye” pig complex in the Sevsky district. “As a result of a drone attack on the ‘Podyvotye’ pig complex in the Sevsky district of the Bryansk region, a fire broke out that completely destroyed one of the production buildings,” the company said in a statement, presented by Russian media.

According to Miratorg, the fire was contained and extinguished by on-site personnel. No casualties were reported.

The company added that it “is taking all necessary measures to fully restore the facility’s operations as soon as possible.”
