Russia says it downed 86 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russia’s Defence Ministry announced that its air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 86 Ukrainian drones during the night of August 29 to 30. 

The ministry said the attacks occurred between 21:00 Moscow time (22:00 GMT+4) on August 29 and 07:00 (8:00 GMT+4) on August 30, with the largest number of drones, 30, shot down over the Black Sea, Caliber.Az reports via the ministry’s statement on Telegram.

Another 15 were destroyed over Crimea, while 13 were intercepted in the Rostov region and 11 in the Krasnodar territory. Smaller numbers were reported in several other areas, including the Bryansk, Belgorod, Smolensk, Kaluga, Tver, Tula, and Kursk regions.
