Russia says it shot down 175 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russia’s Ministry of Defence said its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 175 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight across multiple regions of the country.

In a statement, the ministry said the drones were downed between 8:00 p.m. on June 26 and 8:00 a.m. on June 27. It added that the UAVs were destroyed over the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov, Smolensk, and Tula, as well as the Moscow region, Krasnodar Territory, and the Black Sea, Caliber.Az reports. 

The statement did not specify whether there were any casualties or damage on the ground.
