Russia says over 110 Ukrainian drones shot down overnight

Russia’s Ministry of Defence says its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 116 Ukrainian drones over several regions overnight on December 6.

According to a statement from the ministry, the highest number of drones was shot down over the Ryazan region (29), followed by Voronezh (27), Bryansk (23) and Belgorod (21).

Six drones were intercepted over the Tver region, while three were brought down over both Kursk and Lipetsk. Two were destroyed over Tambov, and one each over the Oryol and Tula regions.
