Russia shares security concerns with Türkiye over Black Sea pipelines
Russia is regularly briefing Türkiye on growing threats to the TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
Peskov told journalists that they are confident the Turkish side can use its influence over the Kyiv regime to warn it against such reckless actions, according to Russian media.
The Blue Stream pipeline delivers Russian natural gas to Türkiye via the Black Sea, bypassing third countries, while the TurkStream pipeline exports Russian gas to Türkiye through the same route.
Gazprom has reported three incidents involving the destruction of drones near compressor stations linked to the pipelines, including Kazachya, Russkaya, and Beregovaya. A Turkish government source said Ankara is reviewing the information on these attacks.
