Russia shoots down 13 Ukrainian drones overnight
On the night of January 11 to 12, Russian Aerospace Forces’ air defence units intercepted and destroyed 13 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones, the Russian Ministry of Defence said.
Four drones were shot down over the Rostov Region, two over the Republic of Crimea, and another two over the Republic of Adygea, Caliber.Az reports.
Two drones were also destroyed over the Kursk Region and the Black Sea, and one drone over the Voronezh Region.
In a previous such counterattack, Russia’s air defence systems destroyed 66 Ukrainian drones during the night from January 7 to 8. Fourteen of the drones were shot down over Crimea, 13 over the Sea of Azov, 12 over the Black Sea, 11 over Krasnodar region, six over Rostov region, one over Bryansk region, five over Oryol region, and two drones each were shot down over Kursk and Volgograd regions.
