Russia shoots down 33 Ukrainian drones in four-hour span

The Russian Ministry of Defence announced that between 09:00 and 13:00 local time, Russian air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 33 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the ministry’s Telegram channel, 28 drones were shot down over the Sea of Azov, three over Crimea, and two over the Krasnodar region, Caliber.Az reports.

Earlier on January 14, the Russian Defence Ministry reported that Russian air defences shot down seven Ukrainian drones over southern Russia.
