Russia signals readiness to assist Armenia in countering “hybrid threats”

Russia is prepared to cooperate with Armenia in addressing so-called “hybrid threats,” according to Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking at a press briefing, Zakharova said Moscow possesses a broad range of capabilities to support such efforts. However, she emphasised that cooperation would depend on mutual interest and Armenia’s request for assistance, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media. 

She noted that if there is both interest and necessity, Russia stands ready to respond, including in areas such as information security, combating cybercrime, and coordination on international platforms.
