Russia strikes Ukrainian airfields, targets drone launch sites

The Russian Ministry of Defence reported that its forces carried out strikes on airfields in Ukraine used to launch long-range attack drones, according to Russian media.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces airfields from which long-range strike drones were deployed, as well as energy facilities and port infrastructure serving Ukraine’s military-industrial complex, have been hit,” the ministry stated.

Temporary locations of Ukrainian soldiers and foreign mercenaries in 142 districts were also targeted, the ministry added.

Operations involved drone units and tactical aviation from Russian military groupings, supported by missile forces and artillery units.
