Russia targets Kyiv defence industry, port infrastructure in Odesa region
Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces carried out overnight strikes on July 11 targeting Ukraine’s capital and key port infrastructure, using long-range precision weapons and drones.
According to the ministry, cited by Russian media, the attacks involved air- and ground-launched high-precision systems as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles.
The ministry said the strikes hit military-industrial facilities in Kyiv that it claimed were used for the production and storage of medium- and long-range drones.
It also reported strikes on port infrastructure in the Odesa region, including in Odesa, Chornomorsk and Izmail. These facilities were described by the Russian side as being used for the delivery and storage of military cargo and fuel supplies.
