Russia to open two polling stations in Armenia for State Duma elections

Russian citizens in Armenia will be able to vote in Russia's upcoming State Duma elections at two polling stations that will be opened in the country, according to the Russian Embassy in Armenia.

According to the embassy's press service, one polling station will be located at the Russian Embassy in Yerevan, while the second will operate at the Russian Consulate General in Gyumri, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media

Russian citizens who are permanent residents or temporarily staying in Armenia and who are at least 18 years old on election day will be eligible to cast their ballots.

The embassy said detailed information about the voting process in Armenia will be published on its social media accounts and in a dedicated section of its official website.

Elections for deputies to the ninth State Duma are scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20, 2026.
