Russia to showcase industrial technologies at Innoprom exhibition in India

Russia is set to present a range of industrial technologies and engineering solutions at the international industrial exhibition Innoprom. India, which will take place in New Delhi from September 9 to 11.

The Russian exhibition will feature a scale model of a nuclear power plant equipped with a VVER-1200 reactor unit, as well as composite materials designed for the storage, use and transportation of gas, according to TASS.

Other exhibits will include alloys and powders made from rare and rare-earth metals, models of Russian aircraft and helicopters, and heavy machinery such as a crawler excavator, backhoe loader and other road-construction equipment.

Russian companies and organisations also plan to demonstrate automated warehouse systems, industrial and collaborative robots, intelligent transport-management technologies, the country’s state product-labelling system, as well as medical and optical equipment.

Among the expected Russian participants are state corporations Rostec and Rosatom, aluminium producer Rusal, transport engineering company TMH, the Russian Export Centre, the Centre for the Development of Advanced Technologies, UMG, National Project Construction, PhosAgro, Arnest Unirus, Sber and Alfa Bank.

Regional participation is also expected, with companies from Moscow, Krasnodar Krai, Tatarstan and Chelyabinsk Oblast due to represent different parts of Russia.

Indian participants are expected to include the SRB industrial and engineering group, National Mineral Development Corporation, Steel Authority of India Limited, ITC, Nicco Cables, Global Gases Group, Monte Carlo and Central Electronics Limited, among others.
