Russia: Ukrainian drone strike cuts power to three Rostov settlements
A drone attack by Ukrainian forces left several settlements in Russia’s Rostov Region temporarily without electricity, Governor Yuri Slyusar has reported.
According to the governor, air-defence units repelled the UAV raid targeting the Chertkovsky, Sholokhovsky, Bokovsky, Millerovsky and Verkhne-Donskoy districts. No casualties were reported.
“In the Chertkovsky district, damage to a power transmission line cut electricity to the village of Mankovo-Kalitvenskoye and the Gusev and Maryany farmsteads. Power was restored overnight in the village,” Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel.
Restoration work in the two farmsteads will begin during daylight hours, he added. Slyusar also reported that in the Lenin hamlet of the Millerovsky district, the roof of a private house was damaged.
