Russia warns of strikes on Kyiv infrastructure
The government of Russia has announced plans to carry out “systematic strikes” on military and administrative infrastructure in Kyiv, including decision-making centres and command posts, according to a statement attributed to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry said the Russian Armed Forces were beginning a series of coordinated strikes against Ukrainian defence industry facilities in Kyiv, including sites involved in the design, production, programming, and preparation of unmanned aerial vehicles allegedly used by Ukrainian forces with support from NATO specialists, Caliber.Az reports.
It added that the planned targets would also include decision-making centers and command posts.
The statement further said that, because the facilities are dispersed across the city, foreign nationals — including diplomatic staff and representatives of international organizations — should leave Kyiv as soon as possible. It also advised residents of the Ukrainian capital to avoid military and administrative infrastructure sites.
