Russian actor Nikolay Tkachenko killed on Ukraine war frontline

Russian actor Nikolay Tkachenko has died in the zone of the “special military operation,” according to the Russian website Kino-Teatr.ru.

The exact date of his death is not specified, though it occurred in January 2026. He was 36 years old.

According to the SHOT Telegram channel, Tkachenko was killed on the front in December 2025. He had volunteered for the operation after it began, serving directly on the front line.

Born on September 1, 1989, in Pushkino, Tkachenko graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute and had been part of the Contemporary Drama Theatre since 2021.

His acting career included roles in 19 films and television projects, including several well-known series.
