Russian air defence intercepts Ukrainian drones in Kostroma, Udmurtia

Russian air defence forces successfully intercepted and destroyed six Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on January 6, the Russian Ministry of Defence confirmed.

The operation took place between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Moscow time, Caliber.Az reports.

The ministry reported that five drones were neutralized over Kostroma Region, while a sixth UAV was destroyed in the airspace above the Udmurt Republic. The ministry did not provide details regarding any potential damage or casualties caused by falling debris.
