Russian air defences intercept massive Ukrainian drone attack

Russian air defence forces intercepted a massive evening attack by Ukrainian fixed-wing drones.

According to the Russian Defence Ministry, between 18:00 and 23:00 Moscow time on February 1, 23 Ukrainian drones were destroyed, Caliber.Az reports.

The majority—12 drones—were shot down over the Krasnodar Region.

Five were destroyed over the Sea of Azov, three over the Belgorod Region, and one each over the Stavropol Region, the Chechen Republic, and the Black Sea.
