Russian air defences repel new drone attack, defence ministry says

Russian army has intercepted and destroyed 203 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones, with air defence forces engaging the targets between 07:00 and 14:00 Moscow time on June 11, the Russian Defence Ministry has stated.

It said all drones were intercepted and destroyed over the territories of the “Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, and Tula regions, the Krasnodar region, the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.

Earlier, Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed its forces had carried out strikes on a Ukrainian naval base over the past 24 hours, as part of a broader wave of attacks targeting military and infrastructure facilities.
