Russia shoots down four Ukrainian drones in fresh counterattack

Between 08:00 and 14:00, Russian air defence systems intercepted and destroyed four Ukrainian fixed-wing drones, the Russian Ministry of Defence said.

Two drones were shot down over Bryansk Oblast, and one each over Astrakhan and Voronezh Oblasts.

In a statement released earlier today, the ministry said a total of 69 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed on the night of February 24 to 25. The largest number of drones — 24 aircraft-type UAVs — were downed over the Bryansk region.
