Russian air defence systems neutralise over 170 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russian air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 172 Ukrainian drones overnight, the country’s Ministry of Defence announced.

“In the period from 20:00 Moscow time on June 15 to 07:00 Moscow time on June 16, on-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 172 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Oryol, Tambov, Tula, Rostov, and Ryazan regions, the Moscow region, Krasnodar region, the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas,” the ministry said.
