Russian air forces intercept 83 Ukrainian drones overnight, ministry says

Russia’s air forces intercepted and destroyed 83 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles overnight, according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The ministry said most of the drones—64 in total—were neutralised over the Bryansk region, Caliber.Az reports.

Nine drones were intercepted over the Kaluga region, five over the Smolensk region, and two over the Moscow region, including one that was flying toward the capital. Additional interceptions were reported over Crimea, where two drones were downed, and over the Tver region, where one was destroyed.

The statement did not provide details on damage or casualties resulting from the drone activity.
