Russian, Armenian defence ministries sign cooperation program

The Russian and Armenian defence ministries have signed a program of cooperation for 2023.

The signing ceremony took place at the end of a meeting between Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan and his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to regional security, as well as military and military-technical cooperation were discussed, the Armenian Defence Ministry press service reports.

Papikyan also took part in a joint meeting of the defence ministers of the SCO and CIS countries on December 9 as part of his working visit to the Russian Federation.
