Russian commentator calls to topple Armenian PM Pashinyan VIDEO
Russian commentator Sergey Mardan has made controversial remarks on the Solovyov Live programme, suggesting a forceful scenario for a change of power in Armenia, including what he described as the possible deployment of a limited military contingent to Yerevan.
During the programme, Mardan criticised recent restrictions on imports of several Armenian goods into Russia, calling Moscow’s actions “pathetic,” Caliber.Az reports.
He said yesterday’s statement — “We will not buy Armenian flowers” — looked so pathetic that it brought back many shameful flashbacks.
“You really cannot put it into words. We are going in circles with this phytophthora, with this Moldovan wine and everything else, instead of deploying 500 paratroopers and changing the government in Yerevan,” he added.
