Russian defence ministry says 41 Ukrainian drones shot down overnight

Russia’s air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 41 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones between the evening of December 21 and the morning of December 22, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

According to the ministry, six drones were downed between 23:30 Moscow time on December 21 and 07:00 on December 22. Of these, three were intercepted over Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, two over the Black Sea, and one over Bryansk Oblast, Caliber.Az reports. 

The remaining drones were neutralised earlier in the night, bringing the total number of intercepted unmanned aerial vehicles to 41 during the specified period.
